I have a 1950's Toshiba G-type ribbon mic, 600 ohm, and a 1950's Aiwa VM-15, 50 ohm. What is a good way to get the 600 ohm mic to have more output?

If it is that old then there is a high probability that any internal foam damping has perished and should be replaced.

Cheers

Nearly no foam was employed in the 50's, silk fine mesh instead. Maybe try to investigate around the aoustical chambrer behind the ribbon probably inspired by some RCA patent.
