Hey guys! Does anyone have a datasheet for the 846DE opamp?

Found that an LM301 is a replacement.

The LM301 is an early op amp that required external compensation (30pF IIRC) to insure stable operation . You can try the 8 pin to-99 301 package pin out...  I vaguely recall an alternate PN for 301 but 846 does not ring any bells (I thought it was a 7xxx something part number).

I see little reason to want to fire this up for more than academic reasons. Any modern op amp that you can shoe horn into the circuit will likely perform a bunch better.

PS: I used some 301s back in the 70s. They had an obscure feedforward compensation scheme when used inverting that delivered decent slew rate  (10VuSec?) for back in the old days. Of course many modern op amps easily beat that now with less funny business involved..
