I once owned the non-injected (not the tii) and four speed manual tranny version of this:

Mine was that exact same color and looked identical otherwise.

I was the second owner when I bought it in 1982 before BMW became the fave yuppie car and I drove into the 1990's. Great little car that was fun to drive.
