So I'm working on an ML5000. And I've come across a few issue's.
1. DC Offset on the Center cHandel in the matrix. Which adds some nasty hiss into the mix.
2. The right side of the console won't pan correctly. When you pan right the left drops out. But when you pan left the right just lowers in volume a little but it's there.
So for 1. I found a blown resistory on the IC power rails. So I think the ICs just got overloaded. So I'm just gonna swap them all for good measure. The master section just had a recap. So i dont think its bad caps. Although anything can happen. Any other thoughts?
As far as 2. I have no idea. The left side of the console is totally fine. And the stereo channels.
