This was on one of the above sites, and says it is a traffic jam, but I'm almost certian this is a picture of Harare, Zimbabwe during the fuel shortage. I think those cars are all waiting to get in that gas station at the end of the line. I remember this distinctly...

Sobering, yes. I looked through the whole thing. That girl's got guts to go in there - and to post those images.

My grandparents were from there, I probably had some distant relatives that died there.

I played there in 2006 on a festival, it was great! damn.. those cranes and things, to bad it was raining..
I can't remember the festivals name though..

I did some reading about the motorcycle trip through that area. Apparently that ride is not likely (possible but not likely), but the photos are still real and still just as sobering.

I went to Kiev a couple of years ago to DJ there.
When i was back and looked on the map i found out that it was not that far away and i could propably seen it from Kiev, it's on the other side of the water actually.
Frightning indeed..
