Hi soundguy,
did you got that pair from ebay? I also got a preamp+eq pairs, still waiting for racking. I think the input and output trfos are in the preamp, and the eq can be "inserted" since the eq are not balanced, does anyone can explain this?

I didnt get them from ebay, but thanks for the link.

the 780 runs on +/-20 VDC??? First time Ive seen that. I wonder if I can get away without powering the logic circuit on this, that would be nice.

On the 780/1540 combo, there is only a UTC input transformer in the module, no output transformer, dont know if you have the same ones. the consoles must have had the output transformers mounted all together somewhere in the board.

You qare right, my 780 also have input transformer, but some of them have the output transformer inside the module. Do you know what specific trafo could we get for the output?

About the logic circuit, I`m not sure if can be done easy, may be anyone could take a look at the schemos and tell us..

Did either of you get your ADM's racked up? What do they sound like? Are you happy with them? I see there are more up on Ebay.

I have the ADM 2783 pre and 1540 eq schematics as PDF files. Drop me a PM if you need them.

I tried to rack these pre/eq modules up, but with little luck so far (there's hiss on the signal). Anybody could help me with that??
