I'm playing bass in a 60s band tonight, and my amp - a Carvin X60 has one 12" 8 ohm 100 watt speaker. It has the facility to plug in a second speaker in parallel, so if I use a second 8 ohm speaker presumably I need to change the impedance switch to 4 ohms. Probably obvious but thought I'd check first. It will not be mic'd up so I'll need to push some air and fear for the single speaker in the amp.
