I'm hanging on to some gear for a bit while a friend finishes his studio build. Included in this stuff is an AKG ADR 68k reverb unit. Plugged it in, hooked it up like the manual sez. I turn it on, and I get an error message which reads something to the effect of 'remote can't connect to mainframe. Press any key to start remote self test.'
The remote self test works fine (I guess). The eproms (?) are the last revision. The cable tests fine for continuity. Nothing LOOKS burned or broken. I don't have a service manual.
That's where I'm at.
Any ideas? Got a service manual PDF? Sell it for parts? Throw it in the trash?
I don't know where to go from here, any ideas are welcome. Thanks.
