These are likely 3uaudio, (similar construction, telltale red tape on the capsule boxes) though I once contacted the owner and he denied any connection. They are not at all true CK12 capsules. They are k67s with alternate hole patterns to the end of mimicking the original AKG response. Dachman's advertising is dreadfully misleading; this is a "replica" of the AKG capsule in the same sense a coca cola ad is a "replica" of the bottled drink, in that the former merely evokes the image of the latter and is substantively different. As to the sound of the capsule, it's probably pretty good. But the differentiating characteristics of the original CK12 are not merely frequency response, rather they also include its proximity effect and polar response. I have bought the capsule because I know what it really is and think 150 is a fair price for a close substitute, especially since Guosheng, the 3u big dog, upped his prices to more or less match Dachman (which is another reason these are probably his capsules). I have yet to test it out because I am waiting on the mic I bought it for and don't want to desolder and resolder capsules in my other ones.
