I picked an AKG C451LB with CK1 capsule from ebay as non working, it came with no small tuchel jack so I installed one and now it works and sounds pretty good.
I have a modern C 451-B (with non removal CK1 capsule).
There's a big difference between the tow microphones.
The modern C451B have much more hi frequencies comparing to the C451LB.
I took a C451E preamp and with the same CK1 capsule both E and LB preamps sounds pretty similar, the E have a little bit more high frequencies than the LB.
On the other hand, the C451-B have much more hi frequencies comparing to the C451LB end E (with a different capsule).
Since I don't have another CK1 capsule I'm wondering if the C451LB works fine or the capsule is faulty.
