Alesis HD 24 not responding on analog in or out

Hi people,
I've just registered on this wonderful forum. Nice find!

With a tough question though, sorry:

I have an Alesis HD 24 on my hands which seems to be responsive enough over ADAT Lightpipe, but totally unresponsive over analog. In as well as out (meaning AD and DA 24 channel boards= 2 separate daughter boards).

All supply voltages seem to measure out all right, as well as all on-board regulators.

All settings have been triple-checked, hard- and software have been duly reset many times.

Firmware is v. 1.1  and has not been reflashed. I'm afraid to do so as of yet.

Does anyone of you have a clue as to why the analog IO is not working on this machine?

The HD24 is usually as tough as old boots, I have one used on ADAT,  but not analogue
Are you sure its configured properly....check page 39 in the manual

But alas, as stated: all settings have been triple checked.
The owner of the HD 24 and myself are both skilled AV tecchies, and together we've been through the manual many times.

We've also checked all 15 Utilities menus as well as the MIDI settings.

I am beginning to fear hardware failure.

I still have a set of the in/out cards from when I upgraded my HD24 to HD24xr. Not sure if they will fix your issue but if you think they will feel free to PM me.
