Allison Krauss and the union station/willie nelson

I caught allison Krauss and the union station this weekend on a double bill with willie nelson. Talk about an amazing concert. Despite it being the one day los angeles had rain and it being an outdoor venue, the music was incredible.  the band and her were just an amazing source of musical talent. It was obvious who has spent  a lot of time in the wood shed practicing their craft.  The harmonies, the musicianship, everything was just spot on.
Willie on the other hand was quite good but typical loose willie in terms of playing.  He still has it considering he has been doing it for so long. Every note  had feeling and was just great.

This reminds me of driving home from work on a Wednesday night, a Radio 2 DJ raved about her and played several tracks every week.

I am not a natural CW fan but I can appreciate the sheer musicianship which is fantastic.
