Hi,
I am in the process of cleaning all 32 channels of my Neve 8232 console and I am following this very comprehensive Youtube guide demonstrated by a fellow Neve console owner. He 1st cleans the different sections of the channels in a large 10L ultrasonic cleaner in a solution of distilled water, 5 or 10% of Weakly Alkaline Cleaning Concentrate for substrates in electronics and optics. This cleaning concentrate is not available in Ireland where I live and I wonder could somebody recommend a suitable alternative available in the Europe and which won't damage up my Neve channel switches.
Here's a link to the part in the video where he pours in this cleaning Concentrate which is called 'Elma Tec Clean A1' -
Here is the product he uses, it is the 1st product when you scroll down - https://www.elma-ultrasonic.com/en/products/cleaning-chemistry/elma-tec-clean
Any recommendations are much appreciated
Regards
