This is the blurb that caught my eye:
"
An industry first: stable voltage, no liquid helium
For years, the electronics industry has relied on Zener-diode voltage generators, despite expense of supplying them with liquid helium. A Japanese institute, after packing 300,000 niobium nitride Josephson devices on a single chip, says it's time for a change. Continue...
"

Bet you didn't realize we've had to cool our zener diodes with helium!

But if you click on Continue and get into the text, it's about a slightly higher temperature operation of Josephson junctions, in a two-chip series-connected array (for higher yields), to get 10V. The zener secondary standard is something else altogether, and way noisier/higher drift, as one would suppose.
