Anyone interested in an analogue vacuum fluorescent meter? Microchip PIC based (8pin 12F1572) uses a now obsolete (?) Itron 2x 101 segment display (I have 50 or so in my loft with drivers and PSU - FS: 2 x101 segment linear VFD 'kit' )

I've mentioned this before but I made a 100 segment VFD meter back in the early 80s.

I had to roll control circuitry using standard digital logic chips. As I recall the display was addressed in banks of ten. I used 1dB per segment sensitivity and displayed peak as a single bar floating above the solid bar VU display. It was sweet but I only made one working prototype.
