Another CK12 Thread - what's available in 2023?

Just to check, do you mean that there will be other capsules available in small quantities to individuals for DIY, or that there will be more capsules only available for OEM (or both)? So far, it sounds like a lot of the forth coming options will be OEM only.

Well it is not for me to know exactly what manufacturers will do with their capsules. It seems logical though that the more companies producing this capsule the more the market will be saturated and people that manufacture microphones will want to make extra revenue selling capsules. I may be the only company exclusively manufacturing capsules and not microphones also.

Is this price confirmed? I haven’t heard or seen a price yet, and it seems that the product is still in development, so who knows if that will actually be the final price.

That's the estimate at the moment and the target that is looking to be achieved.
Anyway, whatever is the final price is, it will not be as overpriced as the current tiny offer of CK12 capsules for DIY which are higher than $400 USD, as for the price it will be a very high quality capsule made with detail from someone with a life of experience, and someone that targets to achieve high quality products.

Actually at the moment the only CK12 capsule available for the DIY crowd that is priced correctly for what is, is the Chinese CK12

As I mentioned there are other manufacturers that will be producing this capsule shortly. There won't be a shortage but also as others have mentioned why race to the bottom.

the question is not in terms of having more people producing a CK12 type capsule, the question is
Who is the person that will do it?
What's the experience of that person on the CK12 design and construction?
What is the effort put into making a quality product or not?
Will those companies produce a capsule that is at the same level or better than you capsule or the other high end CK12 that already exist?
Will it be historic correct?
Will they use the same materials?
Will there be quality control?

You didn't reply to a question I addressed to you, and that goes to the core of it, and I would love for sure to know your words on it:

"If you don't agree with me please let me know which capsule is available for the public where the builder has more or the same knowledge, experience and dedication invested as yourself?
If there is someone selling capsules for DIY that you feel is better than you please share it with us"

For me personally and for many of us here, the person that's behind making a capsule is much more important than the amount of sources available, you need to have reasons to trust that person.
