Another RK12 mfg?

I noticed these on ebay and I don't think I've seen them discussed anywhere

RK12s with orange tape. They look a bit like 3U & Dachmann but I can't be sure as that orange tape is new to me. Anyone have an idea?

No idea who makes them, but i've used them in couple of builds. Totally fine, usual RK12 type capsule. The tape is just cosmetic, i believe they are blue underneath. I ordered them from Ali.

Good to know. As you said the tape is cosmetic, otherwise they look entirely identical to the Dachmann ones. I was curious if maybe the tape had some significance (marking a particular tuning or batch?) but it sounds like not.

I have bit more cheap model of this capsule i guess from same supplier because it is sales in same shop on aliexpres. It is without tape. As my opinion they using a tape for saving air pressure in capsule. But i not sure or this create very big difference. In any case preamp is very important for final sound. My capsule is ok about sound from it. At least i don't hear any problem with capsule directly.
