I only find pictures of people showing their proyects full of relays and all that, but....can we find schematics or something like that???

The Liaison looks amazing but its extremelly expensive imho, cheers fellas!

I started putting some ideas together for a transfer console. EEQ. HP/LP Filter. Lawo fader, NTP meter. Also options for transferring to/from R2R. It will also let me insert 5 analog pieces into the chain.

Still at pen to paper stage for the full layout inside. Insert PCBS are ready to be etched. Front/back panel are ready to go to Schaffer.

Some other projects need finishing first.

Block diagram is great for a first step.

What are you thinking of?

As a general consideration if I couldn't do this to a very high spec I would be much happier direct patching my gear.  I'm close to the (highly skilled) designers of two separate commercial console projects and have spent quite a bit of time inside one, getting it right is far from trivial.  Crosstalk, THD, to buffer or not, noise....

There are several commercial products out there that I consider to fall well short of the mark too.

Another way of looking at this is to keep it as simple as possible, the less there is in line the better.
