I was looking at a pair of ATR100 that were up for auction at the local university.  One was a 1/4 inch the other a 1/2 inch machine, both described as "good" condition.  I was too preoccupied to follow through (was leaving for China the next day) but both machines sold for around $750 a piece, a great deal even for machines that could have needed work.
