How do you mount them?

You remove the little silver brackets above the meter terminals, slip it into the cutout in the panel, replace the brackets, and tighten the outer screws on the brackets (hopefully with the rubber bumpers) until it is snug.

If you don't have the brackets, first you make a bracket, then...

nice. that part I understand.  I was more asking about panel cutout and how the meter fits through the panel or what.

Sorry, I was not trying to be a smarta$$ there.  You do have to kind of angle the meter in through the rectangular cutout.  Round part first, then tip it upright.  I can give you dimensions if you don't have a meter on hand.

Ok that makes sense. I have 4 x meters in the stock pile and I am wiring up a pair.
Cutout dims would be nice.  My buddy's desk is full of them but can't get time to pull it apart and measure.
