Do you guys know what's the difference between the 560A and the 560B?

I seem to remember seeing some posts about the 560A vs 560B, like this
The 560B has the 2520 opamp and a transformer standard, the 560A does not

They 560A was designed between API going under and me buying the company. Since 2520s weren't available, the guy designing it did it with an opamp and power stage. When I bought the company, I changed it to the 560B, added the 2520 op-amp and also cut off the direct connection to pin 15, which I made into the 48V phantom power bus. It is very important that you check that pin on any 560A to make sure it's cut. The factory still puts the orange warning sticker I made in the 80s to warn you.

Just came across a 560B with a direct connection to pin 15 that did some damage to the 2520...was there an early run without the pin cut? PCB is a REV B.

These are the current specs for the 560 wiring API 560: Discrete 10 Band Graphic EQ
If you send API service a photo of the module that shows the board and the serial, they can suggest if it needs to be modified for the current chassis. @FIX will have the real details, as always!
Funny, that is the original diagram I drew in 1985. LOL. they still use it.

Yes, pin 15 was used as a direct out, which was the first thing I eliminated when I bought the company. We put big orange warning stickers on all the API racks, but no one else does. Pin 15 is now +48V, which was the format that I changed when creating the Lunchbox.
