Are the inner layer holes at an angle?

Hi Matt.

Nice observation but they're not at an angle. It is a specialised bevelling process I apply to the capsules during the production stage.

I got the idea from an old red ck12 that I rebuilt. It was done this way and simply sounded more precise front to back than any other I had previously heard.

Fascinating. Thanks Ben.

Hi, we are happy to be able to offer you a C12 microphone build. Using the high quality Australian made microphone body, a circuit, Capsule, PSU, Mount and Leads.

Here is a link to the page for this microphone: http://beesneezmics.com/diy-microphone-range/beesneez-diy-microphone/beesneez-c12-diy-body-kit.html

Hey Veronica or Ben,

I wanted to ask, if you know if I would have to pay customs when ordering capsules from you to either Belgium or Germany?
Probably yes, but I wanted to be sure...

Greetings,
Merlin

Hi Marlin, thanks for your customs question.

Unfortunately, customs charges are at the mercy of the receiving nation.  We price the invoice accordingly and the rest is up the them.

Thanks.

Ben

Its the end of financial year in Australia so we have put all our in stock DIY items on sale to clear the shelves.

Interesting! The CK12 capsule that's taken apart at the Austrian Audio blog appears to have all the holes bevelled, too.

Hi ben and Veronica,
I just received the K7 capsule and b-bv08 capsule after a long wait. Seems like shipping from Australia to Sweden can take a very long time :) Is there a schematic/ pin out diagram for the B-bv08 transformer?
Thanks alot!
/Mats

Hi Ben,

Just so you know, I used your K7 capsule in a DIY FET47 and it sounds stunning. Big, clear, and rich. I couldn't be more pleased.

Thank you!
