Hi Guys!

I have a pretty Audix broadcast console from 1993. Most of modules are from 88/89. Those are IC based circuits.
Unfortunatelly i have no PSU for it.
Original PSU was Kingshill CT068/4 (24V/10A). There's no information in the web about it.
I have schematic, but there's no complete components values etc.
Does anyone could help me figure it out what's it's going in this PSU topology?
Probably would be easier to build new PSU design but i'm not sure what i need :)
For sure i should get 24V on the secondary side, but i'm not sure what other voltages i should get.
For the phantom, there's is external circuit (voltage doubler) inside console.
What's for "SENSE (REF.)" tap? What's for "CONTROL PCB"?

Below is the rest of the schematic and this is all what i have.
I was searching for the voltage information in modules documentation - without luck...

No. I see some of what it does but it is over-complicated.

Just 24V.

This is a BBC-like unit. When the lights go out you can run it on a 24V truck battery (more likely the heavy-duty batts used in the Telephone systems).

Control PCB is the lower half of drawing 1. This is the low-level controller for the high-level transistor on the main unit.

Sense (REF) feeds the Crowbar circuit in drawing 2. If output voltage goes too high, it shorts-out the supply, blowing-up the supply to save the load (console).

This is all very ordinary stuff. The crowbar can be configured 4V to 300V! This is just generic industrial power-supply. In the US, Lamda Delta or Accopian can supply such lumps at competitive prices.

Main thing is to find 24V 10A DC, then connect proper polarity!!

A deluxe installation is to find a ventilated acid-proof room next to your mix-room, install heavy wires to a 24V truck battery and heavy-duty charger. When the lights go out the console stays on.

Hello  ln76d  did you manage to rebuild your ALB? I have one pretty completed in a great condition but no PSU as well. Did you find any schematics or documentation about it?  Please share.

Hey rishkin30,

my is ACC model, little bit newer, but i believe that powering system is the same.
Currently i have three PSU :D
Two original and one from kingshill.
Send my your email on PM.
I will look what i have in my documentation.
