Hi

I have an Aurora Audio GTC2 in my bench for repair, it has multiple issues.

Before getting too deep in the unit, I´ve seen a non-working switch (the one which enables or disables the Sidechain), actually, as I touched it to get it out the nut behind the front panel it broke (somebody opened the unit before me, not very gently, I think he left it barely attached...)

So i need a replacement for the switch, it' s like the ones used in SSL channels but smaller (sorry for the crap phone pic) but I don' t find nothing similar in mouser, any clue before spending hours looking for it?

Another thing, I noticed the  Opamp in one channel gets hot, and also the output transformer. I' ve seen also the 7812 heatsink is attached to ground. Seems strange to me, but looks like it comes from the factory that way disconnecting that doesn't change anything about the Opamp heating...

Any ideas about where start looking? I can't find any schematic online and got no response from the manufacturer...

Thanks in advance

Perhaps you should P.M. Geoff Tanner (He is the guy behind Aurora Audio) who posts at Gearslutz regularly.
He is a nice guy and will surely help you.

Cheers.
