Hi there,
I'm thinking of trying to put together a baffle step decompensation circuit for soffited ATC 110's in my mastering room. I was wondering if anyone had any links to schematics or advice on suitable filters or design considerations.
What I'm aiming for is a low shelf filter with adjustable gain (0 to -9dB) and frequency (down from 200 Hz). Minimal signal path and minimal phase distortion at the cutoff. Perhaps a design similar to this - http://barefootsound.com/homerecording_images/decompensation_filter-single.gif balanced with THAT chips. Either that or something similar to the shelves on the BPEQ.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Robin.
