When I bought the body, capsule, and shockmount for the ORS87, I couldn't help myself and picked up the Bai Fei Li V5. This impulse purchase is partially the fault of the video that @Wordsushi did on it recently, but after some discounts it was only $111 shipped, so why not pick one up, right?
I haven't given it a ton of time to evaluate, but initially I think it can be pretty usable on certain sources as is, but is quite harsh in the high end for vocals. I may play more with some eq to try and tame it, but it's pretty brutal without any processing. The build quality is nice though and it has a fun look to it.
But anyways, enough of my rambling, here are the guts. Since I'm pretty new at this, I'll let others take a gander as to what they think the circuit is, but appears to be a k47 style capsule based on my limited knowledge.
