I seem to recall one or more forum members are located in Baltimore. I hope they, family, and friends are safe.

Not to downplay this latest disaster, but it was "Deja vu all over again" for me as a former resident of Okla City.

I had driven across that stretch of I-40 many times when traveling east from OKC to Arkansas, Tennessee and beyond.

My best thoughts for the folks in Baltimore.

It was a very solemn moment every time I crossed that bridge after it was restored, thinking about the poor souls who lost their life there. I don't travel that way very often any more, but just a few years ago I remember the pavement was still much newer and cleaner looking in the rebuilt area versus the older sections. Very sad, and the Baltimore bridge disaster is no less tragic.
