BBC archive auction: loads of Studer A807s up for sale

Parker Pattinson are auctioning off a bunch of equipment from the BBC Archives section, and the current phase of the sale includes various test gear and a ton of Studer tape machines - thirty-five(!) A807s, a few A810s and a B67. Link here:

It looks like all the gear is in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

Coool, but all the ex BBC tape stuff i've looked at has had a very very hard life.

Yes, that's a fair point. The ex-broadcast stuff I've bought at auction before has generally been pretty thoroughly "used" (and in some cases, "dropped")!

If i lived close i would certainly go and have a look. Maybe if they're from the archives dept. might have been treated well.
i've mostly viewed old radio station gear.
