Yes I am using a Bees Neez k47b capsule with a Telefunken Ef12 tube circuit I am putting together. Its my U47 clone. My idea was to make a hybrid of two mic's Ben sells - it uses the capsule of his "James" model with the circuitry of the "Arabella".

Once finished I am happy to post some samples if this helps, noting of course that posting samples can sometimes upset people on this board who complain that the exercise is futile and inaccurate. As far as the company goes, I have found Ben to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his mics. He is happy to chat at lenght about mics and components without trying to get you to buy one. This in my mind is a valuable sign of a truly devoted mic specialist rather than a salesman.

Back on this eroneous and tenuous subject of samples, Gearslutz had a posting of some of the bees neez mics -regardless of the usual shouting egomania that ensued amongst the members, I really dug the sound of the Bees Neez I heard.  Take that for whatever it is worth:)
