Best toroidal for GSSL

Hello my friends!!

I´m a new user... studying electronic stuff and I would like to build my first DIY Project. Will be the GSSL coz I think it´s an easy Project, good for a first experience.

Well, what I would like to ask is about the toroidal. I know a good transformer is quite important to avoid noises. I would like to know which would be the best options for this project.

Also I would like to ask about the CRC PCB by Expataudio. It´s a filter made to redeuce the transformer´s noise, is that right? Those noises are common in GSSL clones or using a good transformer I will not have this problem? I asking this coz I want to use this compressor for some mastering works... I cannot have noises!  ;D

I've used the Triad torroid on two SSL4K builds and both were dead-silent, relatively speaking.

Thanks Bowie, I gonna take a look... I did find the triad at mouser... the VPT30-830 seems to be a good choice. Thanks
