I found a used Bose SA-1 at a local habitat store for $10. I wanted to use it as a amp for speakers for a PC.
I connected speakers tot he ouput and source signal to the inputs pluged it in and nothing happened
So
I have been searching the web for the control signal(s?) needed to turn on the amp and use it.
So far I have found pin 6 needs 10DC to turn on the amp and pin 8 is ground
Does anyone know what the data stream looks like on pin 7?
Has anyone used a bose SA-1 as a stand alone amp?
I can open it up bypass the input/control stage and connect to the amp stages but I want to try to use it in the stock form.
EDIT opened it up and it has a 12C509 PIC and a TDA7903D FPGA?(I did not find anything except an Alibaba listing)
