  I'm looking for a switch that I can use to integrate a pad into my project. I want to have the ability to enable/bypass a 10db pad for use on a mic level signal. Are there any specific switches good for this process?

You need a DPDT switch with gold contacts. There are many styles of switches, toggle, push-push, lever,...
A good 10dB pad for use with microphones does not exist, unless your preamp has a perfectly behaved input impedance.
