Hi All,

I have a 600 ohm H-pad at 20 dbs of attenuation.  What's the best way to *remove* it from the circuit?  My first thought is to lift the center leg, but that may cause issues I am unaware of.  Perhaps it's easier with th T-pad...

Thanks in advance.

If you know where the signal's entering and leaving the pad, jump the two together: should do the trick.

There's not a single answer to this question. What is the source impedance? What is the load impedance? Is the H-pad really matching?
