Hi there!
Brand new member.
I just recieved the PCB I ordered off of Gustav in Denmark and I see that C3/C103 says 220nF although the schematic says 470nF. Now, the 470nF caps I have are to big to fit between the tube socket and C2, but I have 220nF caps that fit nicely.
I asked Gustav but he didn't know anything about this he said.
So I basically have two questions.
First, I'm curious why the PCB differs from the schematic? I guess one of them is an upgrade/change in the circuit?
And second, what difference will this cap have to the circuit depending on if it's a 220nF or 470nF cap?
From one thing to another. I met this guy who had built a G9 and said that people on this forum had recommended him to make some kind of modification to improve the circuit, which he did and liked it very much. Does this sound like an obvious mod to anyone?
