This tube mic has been discussed a bit here before: https://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=44060.0

They seem to have a bit of a cult following.
I got a good deal on one because it is missing its power supply.  I'm going to put together a PSU for it in an enclosure.
It calls for 200VDC B+ and 12VDC for the filaments - It has 2 tubes, 12AX7 and 12AU7

To keep things simple I was thinking of buying an International Power PSU like the IHB200 and maybe getting a 12V International Power PSU for the filaments but is there a better solution?  Maybe these are overkill for 4 triodes.

Here is the PSU schematic for another CAD tube mic, the VSM
Haven't been able to find a schematic for the VX2 PSU

Yes I did.

I think I used a Hammond enclosure with two off the shelf power supplies:
- International Power IHB200-0.12 for B+
- Meanwell RS-35-12 for the heaters

If you follow the VSM-1 PSU schematic I posted the pinout is the same and the VX2 wants the same B+ (200VDC).

It works great and I love the sound of this mic.

Thanks! This will be of great help.
About the sound of the microphone, I have one with original PSU, and is such a killer microphone. For my taste It sounds as good as other legendary mics that cost 10x more.
