Hello,
I recently built this 1081 preamp (format 500) kit from AML and I'm having issues with the calibration.
I'm feeding the preamp 0,775mV RMS and should get an output of 7,75V RMS when my gain knob is at 60dB.
But here while adjusting the variable resistors in the circuits, I can't get lower than 9,25V.
I've tried to get some local technician to look at it but they didn't want to (too much time consuming).
I'm not sure if this is the cause but I have a pretty high noise floor, if anyone could tell me if this is really affecting the performance of my preamp, and maybe help me out fixing it ?

Thanks a lot!
