Can anyone ID this brand/type of potentiometer?

Hey all,

I have a DBX 162SL here with a busted release pot. Do you recognise what brand of pots these are?

Well, the brand is pretty clearly stamped on the back there - "ALPS". "50KB" is 50Kohm, linear taper.

With no photos of the bottom of that daughterboard, we can't know whether those are mono or stereo.

Potentially RK271 series?

I noticed the brand after I posed the photo. It is impossible to see in my dimly lit studio!

RK271 looks like it is getting close, but they are a fair bit bigger than what is in the 162SL. They are about 19-20mm wide, where the RK27/271 are 27mm.

Possibly RK20 or RK21 series then?

RK21 series looks like the ticket. They don't seem to be available anymore, but it makes it easier to find an alternative.

You can always hard wire some leads to the pot of your choice, I don't mean bud commander or the green lady, rather a potentiometer from a vendor who deals in electronic goods.

I ordered replacement pots last year for DBX gear from my local DBX distributer, worked great
