M mkruger Well-known member Joined Jul 25, 2004 Messages 149 Location Southampton, New York Oct 8, 2004 #3 for power supplies. when I shop on farnell I see a rating of "ripple AC: 890mA @ 100Hz" for a 1000uF 25V Electrolyitc Capacitor. The ripple rating doesn't cary muchn from manufacturer to manufacturer. only by a couple hundred mA with an average of 1000mA.
