change VuMeter ballistics

Hi,
this is the meter schematics of art provla compressor I'would change it to be more fast ballistics (atack and release)
which components/value need to be changed?

The time constant from the 1uF and 62k is tens of mSec,,, I suspect both attack and release are dominated by mechanical characteristics of the meter.
