does it HAVE to be delrin? a cheaper alternative to delrin is UHMW.. you can get it regular and lubricated(graphite) for extra slickness. It's easily machined too. same stuff as milk jugs.

nah... ive been tossing the idea round of a cnc machine.. picked up some plans and it calls for 3/4 or 1" delrin

the stuff is expensive!

for the base? delrin has very low surface friction. give UHMW a try, it can be used for most places delrin is used, especially if you get the lubricated variety. :thumb:
