What simulator do you guys use? I've worked some with spice, but it is such a pain to write the circuit files, and I'm never quite sure if I've got the layout quite right if it doesnt work as expected the first time :/

Have any good recommendations for graphical simulators, or frontends to simulators, or anything useful and fun? I don't need stunning accuracy, just something to tweak around with.

Why not to generate *.cir files from graphical schematics. OrCad do it.
And much "graphical" software do it also.

How to use Electronic Workbench ? Can be smaller than OrCad.

Micro-Cap, the best SPICE simulator I've found. The free demo is very capable, though the parts library is limited. It does allow you to install your own models, however. http://www.spectrum-soft.com/index.shtm
