Cant find a definitive list of current production tubes, thought a thread with them listed might be useful

...no NOS/vintage tubes here...

sovtek also does a 6922. We were using them in our designs for quite some time but switched over to the EH 6922.  The eh's are o.k.  but the best in new production we can get for that tube.

awesome! updated list in OP

are any of the cheap Chinese ones worth checking out? I tried a few 12AX7's in preamps before, found them horribly noisy (no idea what brand they where)

I have a story about Asian tubes.  Years ago was dealing with a company trying to use Asian tubes in designs but the tubes were never right, they had physical design issues with things like spacing between grids and the cathode causing tubes to not perform in the manor a person would expect the screen on the glass would do
