I have a UVECO toroidal mains Xformer in front of me - made in denmark.

One of the wires is marked TH.SW. - it seems to be part of the first mains primary, i.e. the two primaries appear as:

TH.SW.- 0V- 110V 0V - 100V

Can anyone tell me what TH.SW. means?

Thanks

Stewart

ah hah!
The smart money is on a thermal fuse...
Think you might just win a prize there, Keith!

thermal fuses are a pain when they go out.. lets say you hook something up wrong and pop the sucker, fix the hookup but now the thermal link is usually popped. either get a new one or unwrap. unwrapping takes HOURS let me tell you...

maybe it's a thermal SWITCH, as in automatic circuit breaker... that would be more convenient :)

And here I thought you were wondering what to have for breakfast.

Danish,

donut,

Danish,

donut.
