Haha yeah, thats what i meant. Sorry for the confusion.  ;D

Will add "ETA" into my vocabulary ;D

I don't know, I think about creating 2U stereo version and sc hpf can be a nice feature.

I don't know, but wouldn't it be possible to implement a BA182 card between the input and compressor sidechain? Or is it more complicated than that?
I'm asking, because there is someone on eBay selling some of these cards right now...

I think that the process much much simpler. It's not necessary to use inductor that exists on BA182 board.
Tell me how and when do you use sc hpf in compressors?) I use it a lot too but would like to hear other opinions.

Igor Kapelvich did once a 2254, also with HPF. it was based on a 33609 neve.

It slightly different as IJ's version used 33609 sidechain patch and hpf was installed here, not in 2254 sidechain.

Short question while going through the BOM:

are the blue connectors for the BA boards included in the kit ?

I'd be interested in buying some of the BA cards, Without the long PCB's....If they're available?

Also, Are the BA192 (preamp + meter driver) cards likely to be available at any point?
I'd like to build a "full-fat" 2254, Limiter and all.

any info about if it is more or less expensive than this :

that include limiter as well....

A full set of carnhill signal transformers (2x line inputs, 1x mic input, gapped output) as used in the EZ2254 costs about £190 including VAT and shipping within the UK, The EZ2254 kit costs about £745 with VAT and UK shipping.
Shipping will obviously add more to the price if you're further afield.

So, The EZ2254 kit (case, PSU, components, meter, etc.) without signal transformers works out at about £555 per channel.

Grayhill rotary switches are about £15 each.
I'd guess a nice case could be made for £100-150.
The "DA-S-500" Meters are about £30 each from Don-Audio...They ain't authentic, but they look nice.
The "D1010SL" type meters are more like the originals and slightly cheaper.

That leaves over £300 to spend on PCB's, PSU TX, passive components, semiconductors, shipping costs (for everything) and knobs.
DId I forget anything?

Hi folks!
Sorry for delays with replays on your questions, looks like I will have a wedding next week, so little vanity days right now))

Blue connectors out of both kits.
You are right, I forgot to mention them in  mouser cart or in BOM list. My bug. Will try to find it on mouser and add it.
