The following problem occurred on my dbx 160AD after recapping.
Someone please lend me your wisdom.
Compounding this problem is that the 160AD schematic is nowhere to be found.
I recapped it with a 10μF 50V capacitor, and replaced it with a new one with the same constant. Just to be sure, I checked the images of the board before recapping and the current board many times, and there seems to be no mistake.

① When the main board is mounted on the chassis, the power will turn on, but no compressed audio will be output. The reduction LED on the front panel is responding.
②If the main board is not mounted on the chassis, compressed audio will be output, but as you increase the gain, harsh distortion will occur. When I turned it on until about 14:00, I was able to see a maximum of 12V of DC leaking from the output hot. This voltage repeatedly rises and falls.
This symptom occurs regardless of whether the two front panel PCBs are connected or not.

I did the following steps, but there was no improvement.
① VCA replacement I changed from dbx RMS1 to That 2181C, and removed and changed the resistor based on That document.
② Replacing operational amplifiers: Replace 5532 with new 5532D, replace LF353P with 072D

If anyone has ever repaired a 160AD with similar symptoms, I would like to know the information.

The DC on the output is caused by a failed opamp in the DC servo system. If you've replaced the servo opamps, look there. If you haven't... look there again

I had this on a 160A I had - it's above my pay grade but the chap who fixed it told me it was a bad opamp. They're those medium-sized surface-mount ones I expect
