Difficult parts to locate

Up to my eyeballs in my vintage mixer project I've got some parts I need help with finding a source for:

74C-series logic. Especially the 74C157.
TO-5-8 adapter for using DIL-8 circuits instead.
(or NE5534's in TO-5 metal cans...)

Digikey has these, but not in stock?

I'm in Europe, but as long as they ship international...

I have used 8 pin wire wrap sockets to convert 8 pin dips to TO-8 PCBs

The longer socket leads allow you to bend them to fit the round pattern on the board. It might have a clearance/height problem.

I am pretty certain that the local surplus place has one or other of those things... let me check. They have a good selection of 74-series logic... I'm heading there at lunchtime.

I was just there. They have 74157 and 74LS157, -Are either of any use to you Martin? -If so let me know hos may to pick up. Also which other 74-series.
