direct instrument KIT

Hi,

i need 4 DI for my synths.
i think i'm going to start a 500 rack for this and i'm searching for good kits.
the only things i found are mic preamp + DI like this JML that looks great. but i don't need the mic preamp so this fivefish module is fine but doesn't come as kit.
do you have any good idea on a nice kit  to do this ?

why not build some Bo Hansen DI boxes, and use them with regular mic pres?  that's the cheapest solution, assuming you already have the mic pres

+1 on this!
Have built tons of them meanwhile,my favourites definetely.Easy to build,and with the right transformer great sounding too.
They are small enough that you can put them to 500/51x format easily,just buy the L-bracket and the proto-pcb,design a frontpanel and hook them up.Here´s a pic of some of mine,2 duals and 2 singles.
