For the design of the front panel I used: Front Panel Express Your Expert for Front Panels and Enclosures you can do a .fpd usable 'as it' for most of the industry.
for the PCB drawing : KiCad EDA free and great software/ the common file for doing PCB is Gerber (.Grb) that you can send to any PCB industry (JLCPCB, PCBway,...)

Et comment sont stabilisés les modules 500 : par leur fixation en façade + 15 pin à l'arrière uniquement ?

* achat frontpanel.de du rack 1U 19" : auriez-vous une réf à recommander ? je ne m'y retrouve pas sur son site
+ envoi à Frank du dossier 500Edge pour obtenir les panels avant et arrière prédécoupés

You have to send a mail to frontpanel (Frank) and ask him a invoice:
- NRG 1u case : Kopie von NRG CASE 1U (300mm Tiefe), 69,81 €
- you send him the 2 files in NRG_3X_500H folder (link to this thread) ::n front panel I have add the thread for screw the 500 modules + hole for 3mm Led on the right.
I prefer not to add switch hole and frontpanel/case bracket hole as size and position can be specific.

You need to order the 500 edge. it's that small PCB where you come solder the Oupiin (EDAC type) connector...

Pour le design de face avant j'utilise : Front Panel Express Your Expert for Front Panels and Enclosures qui sort un fichier .Fpd que la plupart des fabricants vont pouvoir utiliser tel quel...
Pour le dessin de PCB : KiCad EDA
le format de fichier conventionnel pour l'impression de PCB est Gerber. si tu as un fichier .Grb tu peux l'envoyer à n'importe quel fabricant de PCB (JLCPCB, PCBway,...).

Je te le remet ici : ajout du filetage pour le montage des modules 500 + la led à droite.
je préfère ne pas ajouter le trou du Switch car le diamètre dépend du Switch que tu utilise. Pareil pour les trous/points de fixation entre le frontpanel et le boitier (entre le haut/bas du rack et la face avant pour renforcer...). mais c'est quand même nécessaire de mettre des renforts...

Me : Oran.Outan spoke about 15 pin connectors, I have to check if 30 pin is ok for 500 series modules.
Volker : The Oupiin 8706-30G00D is a 30 pin connector (15 pins on each side) and is commonly used for 500 series modules.

Oupiin 8706-30G00D is a 30 pin card edge connector socket. There are 15 contact positions (2x rows of 15 pins)...

juste une précision : as-tu fraisé le front panel pour placer les vis d'équerre de renfort à fleur ou ce sont des vis sans tête ?

just a point of clarification: did you countersink the front panel to fit the flush-mounted reinforcing screws, or are they grub screws?

I'm about to build one myself and I wanted to post the mouser cart I made , I can't seem to find a BOM anywhere so I cross referenced a few threads and made this. Could anyone have a look and let me know if i'm missing anything?

Mouser doesn't currently stock LM337 or LM317 , any replacements ? I chose LM317T but I can't find a direct replacement for the 337
