DIY Little Labs Std Guitar Signal Transmission?

Hey guys!

I don't suppose anyone has come across a DIY device similar to the little labs STD?

It allows you to do long cable runs without negative impact on the signal.

Thoughts?

Easiest way to get same functionality is guitar fet preamp with small 9v battery.

I have had great results in long guitar lines using rg59 coax cable. Never had a problem when that stuff is used.
