Hi,
could please someone that has Eagle could help me out in exporting some lbr siles from Eagle to an "intermediate ASCII file format"?

It's just opening the LBR file and using ULP and choosing the "LibraryToIntermediate.ulp" to export file

here are the details on how to do that:

I also don't have th ULP in my MAC version of Eagle, I thought it might be from my specific version, it's V6.x

7.5 here, sorry, maybe you need someone on µS W

Those files are not a part of any Eagle version. I think it's more likely that DesignSpark wrote them to convert Eagle files to their format. Have you tried looking for the files on the RS/DesignSpark site or in the DesignSpark installation?

I see what you mean, yes maybe I was looking in the wrong place and those ULP files are not part of Eagle but actually part of the design spark package.  Will check that on a Windows machine.
Thank you so much

ULP's (User Language Programs) can be found in many locations over the internet, based on the language descrived here ftp://ftp.cadsoftusa.com/eagle/userfiles/doc/ulp_en.pdf
They are "community-created", which means they are disseminated.
You can find some there http://eagle.autodesk.com/eagle/ulp
